ABOUT

Hey! My name is Francesca Longo. I am a 22 years old living in Malta currently studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Digital Arts at the University of Malta. Through the years I have experimented with several styles and techniques of creating art.

My journey into the world of art began in secondary school with fine arts when I chose this as my primary subject. In this time I discovered my love for creating! As a medium I started off with pencil, charcoal, ink, acrylic paint and water colours. However, I was drawn to exploring further into mixed media, collages and overall more experimental works.

In 2017 I started my course in digital arts at the University of Malta, where I furthered my knowledge in feilds including package design, illustration - both traditional and digital, typography, photography and animation. I also had the opportunity to study fine arts abroad in the Cardiff Metropolitan University for a few months in 2018. All these experiences lead me to my calling in llustration and graphic design.

Throughout the years I have received commissioned work for several projects such as illustration and logo designs, tattoo designs and hand made cards. I have also sold a number of prints of my existing work. Several of these can be seen by clicking here.
